I AM A TRAUMA SURVIVORAs a young child I was sexually abused by a man I called my godfather. A man who was trusted. As a result, I felt broken, unworthy, and distrustful with an enormous amount of confusion. I felt I would never be good enough, deserving of love or valuable unless I was perfectly composed. I tried for years to be perfect, and not only did that fail but that false characteristic collapsed under pressure. I ended up suffering with depression so severe I spent many years distancing myself from certain friends and family. I survived a miscarriage during high school. Then later survived a extreme domestic relationship and later marriage. With no help from guidance councils, nor clinics, God made it very clear to me during meditation that my traumatic journey will be the touch of someone else's healing. For another 5 years I began to to handle things on my own, I began taking control of my thoughts, and using the energy sources God left for me here on earth to heal my pain and suffering. I finally reached a place of recovery. Now it's my mission to holistically equip survival and healing methods for trauma victims to use as tools of prevention and recovery.
I'M A REIKI HEALER AND CERTIFIED PEAT LIFE COACHI earned my PEAT Life Coaching Certification during September 2013. And I became a reiki energy healer in November 2016. I have a mobile and stationary outreach for women ages 23 and beyond. Five years ago I moved into coaching as collaborative effort to be much more successful in redirecting trauma survivors away from the arms of another scaring situation. 90% of the damage trauma survivors sustain occurs within a relationship during the first 12 years of your life. Whether we are verbally/physically abused by a family member or battered by someone we love. As a result, much of your deep healing work occurs within the context of a healthy, healing relationship. I work very hard to establish this type of relationship with my clients. It begins with you trusting me as the expert. Followed by knowing I genuinely care about you. I will empower you to make good healing decisions throughout your recovery. I guide and advise you, but never tell you when to do it because healing begins when enough has set in. I believe every survivor is accountable for their own recovery. We may not have had much power when we were in the midst of our trauma, but we do now! My goal as your coach is to help you grasp that power and use it to the best of your advantage as we maneuver through recovery and into the space where you are reclaiming a joyful, loving fulfilled life on purpose with purpose!
